4.5. Meditation 5: Sounds and thoughts

Rather than focusing inwardly, on sensations within our own bodies, this meditation now moves onto exploring external stimuli before returning to our own ruminations linked to sounds.

Try to complete this meditation daily during week four in addition to the three minute breathing space meditation.

The combination of attending to sounds and then thoughts helps to teach us how thoughts can be treated, like sounds, as events that arise and then pass.
